Republicans have been screaming that the justice system has been corrupted under the Biden Administration. Democrats counter that the convictions of Hunter Biden and Sen. Menendez disprove that.
The reality is that constitutional experts, who neither support or have voted for Mr. Trump, have publicly stated that the criminal cases against him are baseless. Alan Dershowitz, professor emeritus of Harvard Law, and Johnathan Turley, a constitutional law professor at the prestigious Georgetown University School of Law, have both given detailed explanations of why the cases in Florida, Georgia, New York and Washington, D.C. have no merit and should have never been brought.
Politics has no place in the justice system of the United States. A Federal Judge in the Florida case has dropped an anvil on the head of Attorney General Merrick Garland by ruling that the appointment of the Special Prosecutor in the case was illegal in its inception.
The Office of the President is not a popularity contest and should never be. It is about someone who can advance the opportunities for the people and giving them a better life. It is also about developing a safe environment for people to live, work, play and raise their family.
It is likely that many will not participate in the election process or only vote on down-ballot candidates. Then those same people will lament that their interests are being ignored. There are only two real choices in the election of a President and people need to make a decision as to which of those are the “best of the worst.”
